When do entries for the BizX 2026 Awards open?
Entries for the BizX Awards 2026 are open NOW.
What is the entry deadline?
All entries must be submitted by midnight on Sunday 1st March 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
How much does it cost to enter?
The BizX Awards are funded by entry fees and sponsorship. The entry fee is included in your BizX 2026 conference ticket, which grants you access to all three days of the conference plus the black-tie Awards Dinner and Party on 16 April.
If you're not yet registered for BizX 2026, securing your ticket gives you entry to the awards alongside the full conference experience.
Can I enter multiple categories?
Yes. If your business qualifies for multiple categories, you're welcome to enter as many as are relevant. Each entry requires a separate application form.
What if I'm not sure which category to enter?
Choose the category that best represents your most significant achievement over the past 12-24 months. If you're genuinely torn between two categories, enter both. The judges will assess each entry on its own merits.
Who judges the awards?
The BizX Awards are judged by independent sponsors and business leaders with deep expertise across industries. Judges assess entries based on evidence, impact, and excellence, selecting finalists and winners with integrity and impartiality.
Winners are announced live at the ceremony on 16 April 2026.
When will I know if I'm a finalist or a winner?
Finalists and winners are announced live on the awards night, 16 April 2026. There are no pre-announcements. No spoilers. The results are revealed in the room, as they happen.
Only those present at the ceremony will be awarded. Keep the date in your diary. If you're not there, you can't win.
What happens if I win but can't attend the ceremony?
Winners must be present to collect their award. There are no exceptions. Awards will not be posted, couriered, or presented outside the ceremony.
If you've entered, make sure 16 April 2026 is locked in your calendar. This is a night you'll want to be in the room for.
Do I need to attend the full BizX conference to enter the awards?
No. The BizX Awards are open to all UK businesses, whether you're attending the conference or not. However, the awards ceremony takes place on the evening of 16 April 2026, during the three-day BizX conference. You'll need a BizX 2026 ticket to attend the ceremony.
Can I attend the awards ceremony without entering an award?
Yes. Awards ceremony access is included with every BizX 2026 conference ticket. You don't need to be an entrant or finalist to attend, you can simply come to celebrate excellence and network with the UK's top business leaders.
What should I include in my entry?
Be specific. Provide evidence. Tell your story. The judges want to see measurable results, clear impact, and genuine achievement. Include data, testimonials, case studies, and anything else that demonstrates why you deserve to win. The more detail you provide, the better.
Can start-ups and small businesses compete with larger companies?
Absolutely. The BizX Awards recognise excellence at every stage and scale. We have categories specifically for start-ups and scale-ups, and judges assess entries based on achievement relative to size and resources. A small business with exceptional results can absolutely win against larger competitors.
What if my business is less than a year old?
If your business is less than a year old, you can still enter the Start-Up of the Year category. For other categories, we recommend waiting until you have at least 12 months of trading history to demonstrate sustained achievement.
Will my entry information be kept confidential?
Yes. All entry information is treated as confidential and will only be shared with the judging panel. We will not publish or share your entry details without your permission. If you're shortlisted or win, we may ask for permission to use certain information for promotional purposes.
What format is the awards ceremony?
The BizX Awards ceremony is a formal black-tie evening event. Think three-course dinner, drinks, live entertainment, and an atmosphere that celebrates success. It's a night to dress up, celebrate your achievements, and connect with the best in British business.
Can I bring guests who aren't from my business?
Yes. BizX 2026 conference tickets are available to anyone you'd like to bring—partners, clients, or business connections. It's a great opportunity to share the experience with people who matter to you.
What happens after I win?
Winners receive a trophy, official recognition as a BizX Award winner, and the right to use the BizX Awards winner logo in their marketing materials.
